Amethyst, Royal, Cape, Gradient Mix, Grade AAA, 2.5mm, Faceted, Cubes, 7.5" strands, 81 to 82 beads, Priced per strand
Amethyst is a member of the quartz family and gets its color from naturally occurring amounts of iron and manganese. Sometimes it is found banded with opaque whites (dog tooth amethyst), Citrine (Ametrine), and other impurities that can cloud the Amethyst with greenish tones (Sage Amethyst - so pretty)! Amethyst can be much lighter (a very light lavender) and is known as Cape Amethyst - and dark Amethyst. I don't care what the Amethyst looks like - I just want it all!
Amethyst is known as the sobriety stone - and is often used to help one overcome alcoholism. Wow! That's cool. Mined: Everywhere - but primarily, right now, Zambia.
I've sold beads for over 20 years. As with all items I sell - I'm all about quality!
