DELIGHTFUL COLOR AND SHAPE VARIATIONS WILL AND DO OCCUR WITH THE ENTIRE SEA GLASS COLLECTION DUE TO THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND ARE PART OF THE OVERALL FINISHED PIECE. Debris from the tumbling process is easily cleaned out of the design details with a soft toothbrush and a liquid soap.

The sea glass I carry is all manufactured. It's beautiful, matted glass. The matting won't come off; it's not a coating. The colors are saturated and beautiful and you can get shapes with manufactured sea glass you won't see in nature. (The beach is so good about breaking glass up into tiny pieces!) I've always told my customers that if you like the color and the bead is great, buy it. Work with it. What matters in the end is that you're getting something YOU like!
