The sea glass I carry is all manufactured and contemporary. There's nothing wrong with manufactured sea glass. It's beautiful, matted glass. The matting won't come off; it's not a coating. The colors are saturated and beautiful and you can get shapes with manufactured sea glass you won't see in nature. (The beach is so good about breaking glass up into tiny pieces!) I've always told my customers that if you like the color and the bead is great, buy it. Work with it. What matters in the end is that you're getting something YOU like!

I've sold beads for over 20 years. As with all items I sell - I'm all about quality! I look for workmanship, unique, one-of-a-kind items that carry the stamp of quality.
